Museum of Vetulonia

Who wants to search for the roots of the tyrrhenian civilization will have great satisfaction visiting the numerous evidences left by the Etruscans in Maremma.

This legendary community, that colonised the south Tuscanyand northern Lazio before the ancient romans is best narrated in the archeological museum “Isidoro Falchi” in Vetulonia.

Its 7 rooms can be visited by blind and disabled visitors.The exhibition continues in the outside with an archeological itinerary that goes through the town center where the buildings are build on the etruscan protection walls all along the residential area to the valley where it is possible to reach the necropolis.
