We know exactly what guests need when travelling with dogs and cats, but we do not discriminate: rabbits, hamsters, and any other special companions are just as welcome.

Every guest deserves a carefree and enjoyable holiday, and furry friends are no exception. That is why pets are welcome in every area of the hotel.

Close to the hotel, you will find gardens and public parks that are perfect for daytime and evening walks, not to mention the vast pine forest surrounding Principina a Mare.

If you would like to go to the beach, we will be happy to recommend the beach clubs in front of the hotel that allow pets under the umbrella. Please note, however, that local regulations do not permit bathing with them in the sea. For maximum freedom, the best option is one of the dedicated dog-friendly beaches, easily reachable by bike or car, around 4 km from the hotel.

Pet Policy

For the comfort of other guests and to ensure proper hygiene standards, pet owners are responsible for making sure the following rules are respected. Please find below our pet policy for welcoming four-legged friends:

Pets (dogs and cats) are welcome, subject to prior notice.
Only small and medium-sized dogs up to a maximum of 12–15 kg are allowed.
In all common areas, pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier.
The cost for your pet’s stay is Euro 14.00 per night, to cover the more thorough room cleaning required with suitable detergents.
A maximum of 1 pet per room is permitted.
Pets must be accustomed to living indoors and to proper hygiene routines. If your pet causes excessive mess, an additional charge may apply; barking dogs or meowing cats may also disturb other guests.
For safety reasons and for your pet’s comfort, housekeeping will not clean the room if your pet is left unattended inside. Please arrange a suitable time for room cleaning directly with housekeeping.
Pets are not allowed on beds, armchairs, chairs, tables, or other furniture.
Owners accept full responsibility for any damage caused by their pets.
